̶ beautiful golf communities ̶
Take a look at these amazing villas in this 3D villa and village tour.
Here is an interview with Barry Murphy the founder of Birchley Golf Villages where he reveals why and how he decided to create these affordable quality villages.

The initial stages before any construction starts is likely to take 10 months, let’s call it a year.
The actual construction of the entire village should be completed in 8 months ready for all residents to move in simultaneously, but again let’s allow a year for some wiggle room.
So the overall village will be completed from start to finish in a 2 year period maximum, and yes all residents move in together simultaneously so that nobody is living on a construction site, and also so that construction workers can get on with their work unimpeded.
The total site will be available to be viewed by members via numerous live stream cameras 24/7, and members are also welcome to visit the site in person during any stage of the construction phases subject to appointment for health and safety reasons.
One other point to make here again is that it will most likely take 6 months after residents move in for the golf course to be playable, but we have 4 golf simulators on site permanently also.

If they get the opportunity, Tony and Alice who are both teachers with the option to retire in their late 50s intend to sell their house in Ireland, which they reckon is worth 350,000 Euro.
Their plan is to hopefully purchase a Birchley golf villa abroad as well as a new mobile home on a parkland site in Ireland, so that they can spend a couple of months in the summers in Ireland to catch up with friends and family.
They also plan on having approximately 120k Euro left over after selling their home, and purchasing the two properties, which is a very comfortable reserve to hold, should they ever need it.
Ben and Anne have taken a different approach to Tony and Alice. Ben worked in private industry and has been laid off recently at 58 years of age, and Anne is working as a civil servant, who could take an early retirement package.
They figured out that with Ben’s redundancy payment combined with Ann’s pension lump sum, they could just about afford a Birchley villa, but it would be tight. They decided to take out a personal loan of 25k and to keep their original home to rent out. This would give them extra monthly income, while at the same time knowing that if at some stage in the future if they wanted to sell their Birchley villa and move back home permanently, they had that option.
Different strokes for different folks!
(The research journey will be as interesting to follow as any potential outcome.)
